Sights to See

More than just a sight

Alleyway in the Old Town

Düsseldorf captivates the hearts of people with its hospitality and a joie de vivre that is typical of the Rhineland. The Altstadt with its more than 260 pubs and restaurants and the MedienHafen prove that both historic and modern nightlife districts hold equal attraction. Stylish bars in the MedienHafen along with a good mix of listed industrial relics and exciting buildings conceived by international star architects lend a very particular atmosphere to this place.
The metropolis on the Rhine also has a lot to offer as a shopping destination. Major international designers present themselves on the Königsallee, one of Europe’s most luxurious shopping boulevards. Fans of art treasures and antiquities will enjoy browsing through Düsseldorf’s Carlstadt. The picturesque centre of Kaiserswerth is equally worth a visit. Benrath in the south of Düsseldorf with its grand palace of the late baroque period is historically significant and should not be missed.

Schloss Benrath Benrath Palace

Benrath Palace

In the south of Düsseldorf you will find Palace Benrath, a place of interest and a cultural institution, always worth a visit.
