The Carlstadt district, most of whose buildings originate from the 18/19th centuries, is one of Düsseldorf’s most picturesque districts with a baroque appearance. Nowhere in Düsseldorf exist more restored old buildings. Because of its antique shops, galleries and art shops, the Carlstadt is a favoured address with lovers of art.
On Carlsplatz, the heart of Carlstadt and Düsseldorf’s best weekly market, national and international specialities are on sale.
